Our story begins with the simple fact that the world would be a better place if we all ate more plants. We want to share our love of plant-based food with as many people as possible, so we started
The Plant Kitchen Co. here in Sydney in 2019.

We're Alex & Duncan, and we love making wholesome, home-style, real food. We create meals that belong in the centre of the table: that family & friends can share. We think that everyone should be able to enjoy eating more plant-based meals: whether that's how they eat all the time, or just a couple of times a week.

We're all about making delicious, hearty food that can be enjoyed by anyone.

When we first started out on this journey, we wanted to start a business that genuinely cares for other people and the planet. There have been a lot of twists and turns along the way, but for us, the best way to fulfil that dream has been to create remarkable plant-based meals that you & your whole family can enjoy.

We recognise how difficult it is to put a meal on the table if all of your 'go to' recipes are based around animal products, so we wanted to make eating more plants easy (and delicious) for everyone.

From scratch...

We’re from scratch. Well, almost.

Our food is wholesome and homemade. Bar a couple of ingredients that we can’t produce in-house  (we’ll always tell you what they are) we make everything from fresh, seasonal ingredients that we source here in Sydney to produce truly home-style meals.
